Internet Marketing - Vocabulary



The Internet has been developing its own language. There is now a group of acronyms and terms that are unique to selling online. It is important to get to know in order to use online advertising to its Internet Marketing . Some of these new and unique terms that are beneficial to know are: in the upper half, this is part of a Web page that initially appears to a user before it moves downward. It is more expensive to place ads in this part of the site, as they are more visible, and therefore potentially more lucrative.

Affiliate Marketing - This is where a website is paid by an advertiser to display ads of the latter. Payment is based on a percentage of income derived or proportionate.

Blog - A form of online journal to which a blogger, add items and content, in a casual style. Readers can also comment / contribute.

Click through - When a user clicks on an ad that is shown, which redirects to the user to another website.

Interstitial Ad - These ads appear on a single page before a consumer is directed to the page you request.

Economic benefits - for which traffic to a site becomes a paid product, for example, by using Internet Marketing.

SERP - SERP are site excerpt pages that refer to the user's query through a search engine.

Stiffness - A measurement of how long each visitor stays on a website. This indicates the attractiveness of each site has, and therefore its viability.
