Why Companies Need A Website

You will undoubtedly be asked why a company needs a website and you must answer, "Are you kidding?".

I'm not sure how any business can now ignore the Internet and a direct line to their customers. People expect a business to be online to display more information about themselves, their products, sales and promotions.

People do not use phone books or newspapers as well as the use of Internet. When someone needs a plumber to look on the net! When someone needs a car repaired, look online.

Before people go to the grocery store, are in line with what is available and what businesses can be obtained. In many cases people do their shopping in the store with the offers that best week.

Even major retailers like Best Buy and Wal-Mart have to do a price match for sales because people come to the stores with the printed pages of their websites competitors with better prices.

Today's consumer is better prepared and better armed with the knowledge that they meet online.

People feel naked if you use a service they do not know anything about it. So any company that sells a service is disabled himself for not having a web presence.

Not to mention the potential loss in the business of the serious lack of publicity. How can anyone overlook how powerful the web in the economy. Today the market is having a website is so elementary as to have a phone.

Some power will tell you they are "Old School" and do not understand the websites. You can ask if they have a cell phone if you have a VCR or a microwave. These are all revolutions require the same learning curve, but people can not live without them.

Tell the "Old Schoolers" that may lie behind the times, but their customers are not. Your customers are embracing the web in a big way and moving their business to companies and services that cater to their whims. Not having an informative website is like ignoring what your customers are asking for.

Another surprising fact is the number of companies and retailers who buy and do online research to buy their products. But they do not have a website to sell their products.

You will not be able to convince all those who need a website. If a company believes it can operate without a website that does not change his mind.

You can explain how cheap and easy it really is, but if you do not bite, do not send. Sometimes you can not teach an old dog new tricks, but how many older dogs do you see in business?
